IT WASN’T ME
This collection exists out of a series of case study objects with which I mimic the process of outsourcing design to AI. By each time, letting a basic shape be uncontrollably deformed by one of four natural elements. The creation process of these objects emerges from heavy experimentation and leads to a very atypical interpretation and use of materials resulting in a raw and honest esthetic.
The aim of this project is to create a counter-movement against Artificial Intelligence as it is increasingly being used in creative practices. And thus raising awareness for a more tactile approach to design. Because if misused, I consider this technology more of a threat to the integrity of the creative sector than a useful tool.
